Description
ZJNF Hepa Filter H14 Ffu Filter Fan Unit For Mushroom Mycology Laminar Air Hood

The evaluation of laminar flow hood performance revolves around key parameters such as wind speed, air volume, and cleanliness level, which directly determine whether it can maintain a stable and clean environment in local areas.

Wind speed and air volume are basic indicators. The wind speed of a Class 100 clean room usually needs to be controlled at around 0.45 meters per second, and the air volume needs to reach over 3000 cubic meters per hour. Low wind speed can easily lead to dust deposition, while high wind speed may cause dust, which needs to be precisely adjusted according to the cleanliness level. The calculation of air volume can be done through the formula: air volume (cubic meters/hour)=wind speed (meters/second) x laminar flow hood area (square meters) x 3600 seconds.

Cleanliness level is the core objective. The hundred level laminar flow hood requires a dust concentration of ≤ 3.5 particles/liter with a particle size of ≥ 0.5 μ m in the working area. This depends on the high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter's filtration efficiency of 99.97% or more for particles ≥ 0.3 μ m. Daily monitoring can be continuously conducted at the center of the workspace through a particle counter to ensure that the dynamic cleanliness meets the standard.

Installation and maintenance are equally crucial. The laminar flow hood should be installed in key areas of the clean room to ensure that the airflow direction is perpendicular to the working surface. Regularly check the wind speed and volume, clean the filter screen, and prevent dust accumulation. The integrity testing of high-efficiency filters (such as PAO leak detection) is a key maintenance focus, and the leakage rate should be ≤ 0.01%.

In addition, noise should be controlled within ≤ 65dB (A), and the average wind speed range is usually 0.25-0.55m/s. During installation, it is necessary to ensure that the horizontal deviation is ≤ 1/1000, the height deviation is ± 1mm, and sealing and vibration isolation measures are taken. Only through systematic detection and maintenance can the laminar flow hood continuously and stably provide the required high cleanliness environment.
